Welcome to Riverside Acres!
As the former owners of Morgan’s Outdoor Adventures, we’ve dedicated our lives to the outdoor hospitality industry—helping guests connect and discover the joy of camping, rivers, and nature, and creating cherished family memories and traditions along the way. Now, after taking a season off, we’re excited to welcome you back to the river and share our little paradise along the Little Miami River.
Riverside Acres is the next chapter in our story. We’ve intentionally limited it to just a handful of intimate campsites, shaded by towering, ancient sycamores that provide both comfort and sanctuary. Here, the song of the river rapids gently slows your hectic pace and invites you to breathe a little deeper.

We’ve poured our hearts into developing these four campsites with intention and care. Every trail we’ve cleared and every site we’ve selected has been guided by our deep respect for this land and our desire to help you create lasting memories here. You’ll experience camping the way it should be—naturally.
You’re not just renting a campsite; you’re joining our extended community of nature lovers who understand that the outdoors is best enjoyed with reverence and responsibility.

Campsites
Riverside Acres is our home — our pride and joy — and we are so excited to share it with you. We've opened our backyard to give you an authentic, primitive, natural outdoor camping experience right along the river. In return, we ask that you respect our land, our river, and our family. Each primitive camping site is designed to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for everyone, allowing you to unwind and relax in nature. We provide a fire ring and picnic table at each campsite. There are 2 portolets conveniently located near all 4 campsites and cabins.
Eagle Pointe
Our premier riverside site with one of the best views on the property, looking upriver at the top of the rapids. About 100 feet of river frontage with a gravel beach, easy water access, and a small swim hole great for kids.
Sandy, level area for several large tents, plenty of trees for hammocks, and good shade throughout the day. You’ll hear the sound of the rapids and enjoy a quiet, private spot right on the river. And keep an eye out for the Bald Eagles who rule the river!
Kingfishers Camp
A nice riverside site next to the preserve, with about 60 feet of river frontage and a mix of sun and shade. Level areas with space for 3–4 tents and easy access to the water. Find a spot for fishing and relaxing in the shallow riffles and gravel beaches. Fall asleep to the calming sound of the rapids nearby. Watch the kids play in the river and keep an eye out for Kingfishers chattering along the shoreline.
Hawks Shadow
A peaceful, shaded riverside site with level sandy ground and room for 3–4 tents. Approximately 90 feet of river frontage with easy access to shallow riffles. Riverside Maple trees provide shade with a sunny open space, enjoy a peaceful view of the Little Miami from your campfire. On sunny days relax in the rapids and watch the kids enjoy the easy flow of the rapids in front….Keep an eye out— it’s likely you will hear the call of our resident hawk overhead.
Herons Haven
A favorite riverside site right next to the rapids, where you can hear the water flowing all day. About 60 feet of river frontage with easy access to the water. Level ground for a tent, Sycamore trees for shade and a few hammocks, and a natural border along the river. A perfect spot to relax and watch canoes and tubers float by. And Perhaps a Blue Heron fishing the shallows.
Primitive Camping Cabins - Coming Soon
Don't have a tent, no problem, reserve one of our Amish built primitive camping cabin. Each cabin comes with a full size bed and a set of bunk beds. Great for a couples get away or family's camping experience.

Our vision is to create primitive campsites that honor the landscape’s inherent character—each one thoughtfully positioned to offer unique experiences along our 450 feet of river frontage.
We envision a place where families, friends, and solo adventurers can disconnect from the noise of daily life and reconnect with the rhythms of nature. Where the river’s voice replaces the hum of technology, and where starlit skies remind us of our place in something greater. Our four sites will serve as gateways to authentic outdoor experiences—primitive, peaceful, and purposeful.
As stewards of this land, we’re dedicated to sustainable camping practices that protect Ohio’s first designated scenic river for generations to come. Each campsite is designed to minimize impact while maximizing your connection to the woods, water, and wildlife that make this corridor so special.
